We are excited to have signed a long-term agreement that will see the InchgreenDry Dock and the adjacent deep sea facility become an active export hub for Panamax & Handymax cargoes of high quality Bonus steel scrap direct to end consumers, ensuring ongoing sustainability and contributing to the circular economy.
The team at Atlas Decom will breathe new life into Inchgreen and the adjacent land, which was once a thriving shipping town. The new jobs at Inchgreen will include trades and skills which exist in abundance in the local area. The move will will mean that Inchgreen will become a cradle to grave centre of excellence for recyclable metals, one that generates jobs and celebrates local heritage and expertise.
